Dr. DJ Morris was born and raised in Seneca, SC. He attended the University of South Carolina before receiving his Doctorate of Optometry degree fromthe University of Alabama Birmingham School of Optometry in 2016. While attending optometry school, he served as President of the Sports Vision Club, as well as a University Ambassador. Upon graduating from UABSO, he was awarded both the Goodlite Pediatric Excellence Award and the 2016 Alabama Optometric Association Leadership Award.
He specializes in pediatric and primary care optometry, including management of strabismus and amblyopia, treatment and management of ocular disease, co-management of LASIK and Cataract surgery, and the fitting of specialty contact lenses. He is currently an active member of the American Optometric Association, the South Carolina Optometric Physicians Association, the Piedmont Optometric Society, and is a TLC affiliated doctor.
Dr. Morris has one child; Gary, his 1 year old lab. Dr. Morris enjoys spending time with family and friends, weight lifting, reading, and watching Shark Tank.
