Coronavirus/COVID-19 Update
Family Vision OPEN in Anderson, Clemson and Williamston as Essential Providers in SC.
Optometrists are designated as essential providers in SC during the COVID-19 state of emergency.
We are working hard and making every effort to balance being available to care for your emergency and urgent eye care needs with your safety in mind of reducing the risk of transmission of the virus.
Actions we have taken:
1) Practicing social distancing by allowing only a few people into the building at a time. A family member accompanying the patient remains in the car with the exception of one parent with a minor or a patient requiring a caregiver.
2) We have a person at the door, making sure all patients have a mask, checking temperatures, and giving hand sanitizer.
3) Curbside dispensing of spectacle orders and contacts.
4) Most contact orders will be shipped to your home free of charge. Call 226-6041 Anderson, 722-9205 Clemson or 847-7657 Williamston if you need more contacts.
5) While in the building maintain a six-foot distance from others. Our doctors, staff and patients wear face masks.
6) Plastic shields on the microscopes between doctor and patient.
7) Thorough cleaning and disinfection process at the start and end of each day with continual disinfection procedures throughout the day including all frequently touched surfaces and exam room equipment, from the chairs and the clipboards, to each set of glasses that have been touched.
8) Window barrier between the patient and receptionist at check-in and check-out.
9) Calling to reschedule non essential visits including the elderly and high risk patients.
Thank you for your patience in these times, and you can trust we are doing everything in our power to make the environment as safe as possible for everyone.
Sincerely,
Drs. Graves, R. Baughman, Morris, N. Baughman and Griffis
